From Reid’s, “White Privilege Tarot Spread.” Change is hard. Confronting your wrongdoings and shortcomings is even harder. Admitting that you’ve made a mistake is scary and vulnerable af. But I believe that if we hold space for one another, we can lend the support that we each need in order to heal. At the end of the day, it’s doing the work to heal ourselves that will have a ripple effect and enable us to be better humans, more capable of holding space for others. I definitely don’t have all the answers. My hope is, together with Spirit, we can muddle our way through unpacking this privilege leading with our hearts instead of with our fears. If talking about privilege makes you uncomfortable, it may be time to consult the cards. Or read a book, or two.
