Meet the Reader
Hello, Everyone! My name is Alexandra (they/them). I am a Tarot reader, a Medium, a witch, a pagan, a practitioner of ancestral veneration, a mother, a wife, multiracial, and queer. (Phew! Did I miss any labels??) I enjoy listening to the podcast “Ghost of A Podcast.” I enjoy watching the Youtube channel “Three Fat Readers". One of my favorite witchy fiction books is, “The Once and Future Witches,” by Alix E. Harrow. When I’m not working, I’m either reading, writing, painting, sleeping, chauffeuring my child around, or binge-watching shows with my spouse.

My Story
I secretly bought my first Tarot deck when I was 15 years old back in 2007, and I’d like to say that I’ve had a steady practice ever since, but that’s just not the case. Schoolwork pressures as an upperclassman in high school and then studying for my B.A. in History and Spanish took a toll. My practice disappeared. I actively stopped listening to my intuition as my desire to conform and fit in with the college social scene increased. However, when I became a Mother in 2015, I felt a surging need to re-learn how to listen to my intuition and reestablish my Practice. Ever since then, I have been regularly reading Tarot for myself and occasionally for others.
My Style
Every Tarot reader reads differently. When I read, I use my clairvoyance, claircognizance, and clairsentience to receive the knowledge of what cards to pull, where to lay them, and what they mean in the context of your reading from my Spirit Guides; occasionally from my well-ancestors or deities too. That is why I begin every reading asking for protection and guidance from whichever spirit or entity I’m seeking to receive this wisdom from, and I end every reading thanking Them for their protection and guidance. Because I purposefully use Tarot as a tool to communicate with my Guides, I have no control over what will come through in the cards. Many times, I ask a question and a different question is answered. Or I ask about you, and receive an answer about your family member instead. Spirit says, “It’s cute that you think you have control over what We’ll answer.” As a Tarot reader, I have to stay humble and surrender to the process. As one of my clients, I hope that you stay open-minded with me.
